Ever wanted to glide down London’s tallest building, zipping through as the ground races towards you? While not possible in real life, the View from the Shard and Happy Finish created the next best thing – a memorable installation at the top of the Shard – with VR physically tracked to a slide module to offer visitors an adrenaline-boosting visitor experience.

Exciting and vividly realised, the experience showcased how including on-site VR experiences can lead to an increase in attendees and visitors. The View from the Shard is one example of many across the world, taking advantage of its unique characteristics to widen appeal.
